The roll out will begin in the USA region first, followed by other markets later. Yes, we are talking about the Moto Z Play and its successor reportedly dubbed as Moto Z2 Play. New reports suggests that Motorola will be releasing the latest Android update for Moto G4 Play in the month of June.
In other Motorola news, renders of the Moto Z2 Force also leaked recently, which revealed dual cameras, a huge camera bump, and the familiar Moto Mod connectors. For one, it redesigned the home button to more closely mirror those on the Moto G5 and G5 Plus, but that's where things stop, apparently.
The Moto Z2 Play's specs are now a mystery, but last year's model gives a good frame of reference.
Moto G4 Play was announced with Android 6.1 Marshmallow operating system last August. The company after being purchased by Lenovo started to introduce many new series of devices past year. Other than these, there are no other visible changes the Moto Z2 Play will come with. This also gave a clue to Motorola's continuation of this series with additional features both in hardware and software.
Motorola's Moto G4 Play is one of its budget devices launched previous year and continues to live under a low profile. Rumors surrounding Moto Z2 Play's specs, release date and price have already started hitting the web. The 3,510 mAh battery is still larger than the batteries included in some of the most popular flagships.
The Moto G4 Play comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). Also, this will have an 8MP rear and a 2MP front facing the camera with a 4000mAH battery and will may be run Android 7.0 with the box. We know there are some testings to be done but we were hoping not this long.
