Aamir's massive body transformation and fantastic acting prowess coupled with great supporting cast ensured its historic run at the box office not just in the country but overseas as well. The film was released in over 7000 screen in the country and has already broken the Bollywood box office records earning Rs. 121 crores in China already. On Saturday the film collected approximately Rs 27.939 crore (USD 4.17 million) taking the total to Rs 40.20 crore (USD 6.25 million). In fact, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has become the first Indian film to earn more than Rs 100 crore at the U.S. box office. And, suddenly the film has come up as a new challenger to Baahubali at the box office.
Box office collections: The movie had grossed about United States dollars 2.2 million in the country.
The sports movie with a social message broke the record of PK, another Aamir-starrer, which had done well two years ago. But Dangal had passed that number in the afternoon of Friday itself by pocketing more than Rs 7 crore.
This year, the Beijing Film Festival opened with Dangal's release. So far, "PK" is the only Indian movie to have crossed Rs 100 crore in China and it had done so in 16 days since its release.
In it's first weekend, the tickets sales have grossed Rs 72.68 crores, the film is now heading towards a box-office century.

According to the movie reviews on several media platforms, the film is much more grandeur than its prequel with incredible visual effects, high voltage drama, strong plot and some mind-blowing fighting sequences.
