Kylian Mbappe Names The Toughest Opponent He's Faced

Mbappe enjoyed a brilliant breakout season in 2016-17, winning Ligue 1 with Monaco, reaching the UEFA Champions League semi-finals and receiving a first call-up to the France national team.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has told Monaco's Kylian Mbappe that he should only move to a club where he is guaranteed to play.

The reported offer from United comes days after the Old Trafford club were forced to reshape their transfer plans after Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann made a decision to turn down the chance to move to Manchester un favour of staying with his current employer.

The Arsenal boss said: "Where do you think he [Mbappe] might finish?" Somewhere where he is sure to play.

"Real" has already made some proposals, "Monaco" in Mbappe, but every time I run into a failure on the part of the Monegasques. "Nobody will buy a player for a £100m and say, 'Come on, sit in the stands'". In turn, the club have been intensely linked with a host of goal scorers from across Europe, including the prodigious Mbappe who is now widely recognised as the most sought-after young talent in European football.

"The Premier League is interesting and I will look for a club where there are not too many players in my position, so I will not be benched".

"You have the generation of players now between 24 and 28 years old who should come in next for the Ballon d'Or". There's certainly Neymar, maybe Griezmann, and Mbappé.

"Mbappe is 18 so that will last a bit longer".
