Amid a brewing money dispute between Jay-Z's Tidal and Kanye West over the exclusive release of his latest album, TMZ reports that West is done with exclusive releases once and for all. TMZ reported that Kayne left Tidal because the company, according to him, owes him no less than $3 million.
Kanye is apparently fuming because he was not paid a bonus for bringing fans to the service with his album, The Life of Pablo and was apparently not reimbursed for music videos he shot with the company.
The two rappers have been feuding ever since West addressed Jay Z and Beyoncé while performing on his "The Life of Pablo" Tour- a tour that was short lived after West was checked into the hospital for exhaustion, E News noted.
Sources tell the gossip site that Kanye's lawyer sent a letter to the streaming subscription service a month ago and in the two weeks that followed, both Ye's camp and Tidal reps attempted to "resolve the conflict but failed". "Jay Z - call me, bruh", he pleaded, adding that "you still ain't called me".
Kim and Kayne attended Blue Ivy's birthday this year, and they sent their congratulations when Beyonce gave birth to the twins.
But rather than tying to suss out whose side of the story is more credible, let's instead enjoy some lyrics from the song, "Kill Jay-Z", which was released by Jay-Z after all this messiness began. Thus, it's entirely possible JAY-Z is simply doling out some tough brotherly love to his one-time protege.
Jay-Z's new album 4:44 has caused all sorts of new drama between him and the West clan.
He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f*ck was he thinkin'?
