Earlier on Tuesday night, Israeli media said that a rocket was sacked from the Gaza Strip.
Gaza terrorists launched a rocket attack at southern Israel at around 9 pm on Tuesday night.
Missiles and rockets are periodically fired into Israel, generally by hardline Palestinian Islamist groups opposed to Hamas. Last month, a rocket from Gaza landed in an open area in the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council.
No injuries were reported.
The victims' injuries ranged from light to critical, Ayman Al Sahbani, the head of the Emergency and Ambulance department at Al Shifa Medical Center in Gaza City was quoted as saying by the Maan news agency.
Israel has repeatedly said it holds Hamas, which controls Gaza, responsible for the firing and often retaliates by attacking Hamas positions.
One of the injured was a 26-year-old man who was hit in the head by shrapnel.
The Israeli side usually blames the Palestinian Hamas movement, which rules the Gaza Strip, for the attacks carried out from the territory of the Gaza Strip. In the summer of 2014 Israeli forces launched a massive military campaign against the region that claimed the lives of over 2,000 Palestinians and injured thousands more.
