According to a German retailer, Saturn, the Day One version of the console will be named, Xbox One X: Project Scorpio Edition. I asked Loftis about the gap that Crackdown 3's delay now leaves in the Xbox One X launch lineup, and she emphasized the long list of platform exclusives and titles that will be enhanced by the more powerful Xbox One hardware arriving later this year. It seems to be similar to the standard Xbox One X in design, only with a textured top. XboxDynasty.de was able to grab a screenshot of the listing alongside pics of the console and special controller. There also appears to be a slight difference to the texture on the console.
While the listing on Amazon Germany doesn't say what all the Xbox One X pre-order will get you if you do pre-order the console, it does say that those that pre-order the console will get something extra. Of course, as with all leaks, take it with a grain of salt. This previous day one special edition also came with a unique Xbox Live achievement, too, though the leaked information doesn't mention one for this new edition.
Microsoft is gearing up for a big weekend, where it will reveal info during its Gamescom 2017 press event, going down this Sunday, August 20, at 9pm CEST / 8pm GMT / 3pm ET / 12pm PT. It is highly believed that the upgraded console will finally be made available for pre-order at the event.
