As per XDA Developers, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 design is comparable to a variant of the Redmi Note 4 based on the leaks. The chipset will also be paired with Adreno 308 GPU. The battery is a 3000mAh one, which the company claims will offer a standby time of 8 days. With a 5000 mAh powerhouse, Bharat 5 has stolen the competition from Desh Ka Smartphone that embeds a 3000 mAh battery.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD (1280x720) display.
The Redmi 5A again looks to be the victor here as it comes sporting a 13-megapixel camera on the backwith f/2.2 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus and LED flash.
In terms of design, Micromax's latest Bharat 5 comes with an all plastic back and prominent bezels at the front. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels at a PPI of 294 pixels per inch. But in terms of hardware performance, the Redmi 5A with a highly efficient Snapdragon 425 processor emerges out as the victor in comparison to the entry-level MediaTek SoC used by the Bharat 5. Furthermore, the smartphone also supports OTG that makes it double as a power bank and charge other devices. While coming to its specifications, the 'Made in India' handset has a 5-inch 720p HD display powered by quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor. Xiaomi has taken care of it with the Redmi 5A, giving it a dedicated microSD card slot apart from the dualSIM slots. The device comes equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
However, Xiaomi is also giving a Rs 1,000 discount on the first 50 lakh Redmi 5A phones it sells, bringing down the price to effectively Rs 4,999 and 5,999. Redmi 5A runs on Xiaomi's native MIUI 9, based on Android 7.1 Nougat. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
Micromax Bharat 5 costs Rs 5,555. The latest entry to the list is Micromax Bharat 5 - the successor to the Bharat 4.
