Google is rolling out Assistant to users that have set their language to English with a focus on US, UK, India Australia, Canada and Singapore. Other regions receiving the update include Italy, Japan, Germany, Brazil, and Korea.
So make sure all your Google apps are updates and let us know once you receive the Google Assistant on your Lollipop smartphone.

In select countries, users can even send money via voice on Google Assistant.
Android Oreo Go is basically an Android Oreo build custom-designed to run well on devices with 512 MB or 1 GB of RAM, as opposed to higher-end devices that come with up to 6 GB of RAM. It will be coming to more languages next year.
