The iOS version of Civilization 6 requires at least iOS 11.1.2, and will only run on an iPad Air 2, a fifth-generation iPad (aka the 2017 model) or an iPad Pro. Additionally, the first 60 turns of the game will be free to play.
The new game's price is $60.
While previous Aspyr games for iOS have been playable on iPhone or iPad, Civilization VI will only be available for the iPad.
Most games for smartphones and tablets are created to be simpler than PC and console titles.
Civilization VI is the first in the Civilization series to be released for the iPad. While this may seem unusual for an iPad game, since it is the exact same thing which appeared on PC, it is kind of okay. A game this awesome at this cheap prize, downloaded on the iPad. After that, players will need to unlock the game for $60 to continue using it. Leader screens are no longer animated, and there's no more strategic view mode, but as far as everything else goes, this is Civ VI as you know it, you now just to get to touch it instead of drag it with a mouse. Purchase the full game to build an empire that stands the test of time! After that, you have to buy it.

Local multiplayer is available but as to whether online and cross-platform multiplayer will be supported, that's as yet unknown.
The Civilization 6 iPad port will apparently be a near-complete port of the original game, though the upcoming Rise and Fall expansion and apparently other DLC won't be included along with it. Aspyr has said, however, that they plan to implement DLC sometime in the future even if they can't now guarantee a timeline.
