New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will not attend the beginning of the team's offseason program, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He is not expected to participate in the voluntary workouts either.
With training camp set to begin next month, the Patriots should get their answer concerning Gronkowski at some point over the next few weeks. Rapoport reports that Gronkowski has trained this offseason at the TB12 Sports Therapy Center and the expectation remains that he will play in 2018.Читайте также: Paternal grandmother had custody of child killed in Knightdale incest case
Tom Brady will also miss the opening session, as he is in Qatar on a Best Buddies mission. There is no certainty that means that he is leaning toward coming back, but it at least means that the Patriots have been kept abreast of what Gronkowski is going through. He's now on a "business trip" in Qatar, according to Schefter. But Brady, who is traveling with his family, now isn't believed to be thinking about not playing next season; Gronk definitely is.
Although Patriots' owner Robert Kraft recently claimed he was unfazed by his star tight end's retirement murmurs, it appears Gronkowski has yet to make a decision regarding his 2018 playing status.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
